Documentation matters

Technical fit is only one part of an industrial purchase.

The required level of traceability depends on the product, application and buyer specification. The quotation should state what documentation is available and who is responsible for providing it.

Product identity

Manufacturer, model, part number, drawing revision and supplied configuration should match the quotation.

Origin & manufacturing route

Country of origin and factory identity should be stated only where confirmed by the actual supply route.

Certificates & testing

Required certificates, inspection, test reports or material records should be agreed before order placement.

Revision control

Drawings, datasheets and technical clarifications should be tied to the exact revision used for the offer.

Shipment documentation

Packing, commercial and shipping documents should identify the supplied product consistently.

Warranty responsibility

Warranty scope should follow the manufacturer quotation or written commercial agreement, not an unsupported website statement.

Have a current industrial requirement?

Send the application, part number, drawing or current problem. We will review the route before any commercial commitment.
